Appleton Piling Ltd own and operate a modern fleet of piling plant and equipment. We specialise in both temporary and permanent sheet piling works using silent and vibration free techniques.

The Kowan Pile Press is suited for environmentally sensitive areas particularly in inner city areas as the pile press installs and extracts sheet piles almost silently and without vibration.

Appleton Piling Ltd have successfully installed sheet piles very close to existing buildings and structures enabling the developer to maximise the size of the construction. We have effectively installed sheet piles close to a number of Grade 1 and 2 Listed Buildings..

The Logicrane 55.38 telescopic crawler crane gives us the versatility to work in very confined areas without needing the space and time required to rig and derig a conventional lattice boom crawler crane.

The two Kowan WP150Still Worker Pile Presses and the Logicrane 55.38 55T capacity telescopic crawler crane operate using biodegradable hydraulic oil. This allows us to carry out sheet piling works adjacent to watercourses with confidence.

Where the ground may dictate that the steel piles are installed using vibratory hammers we utilise telescopic leader rigs with resonance free vibratory hammers. The resonance free or variable moment vibratory hammers reduce the vibration caused when installing and extracting steel piles. This allows vibratory steel piling works to be carried out in sensitive locations.
